So, I had a thought a long time ago. But I will repost it now to make it look like I am keeping up with a blog.
Is it wrong to love the song Walking On Sunshine?
You know it. Happy, poppy, 80′s song. It makes you want to dance and do special things like clean the dishes.
But is it wrong, now, to love that song?
Because, after what happened in New Orleans, is it really OK to love a song by a band called Katrina and the Waves?

A lot of people like to hope that when someone else gets to heaven, they find out that God is black or white or a man or a woman.
Screw that noise!
If you are really as colorblind as you say you are then you will hope like me.
I hope, if there is a heaven, that everyone gets there to find out that God is really a hermaphroditic zebra.
That would be a just solution.

So I saw a kid walking with his girlfriend last night. He was wearing one of those “Stop Snitchin’” shirts.
I was overcome with this urge to hit his girlfriend upside the head with a shovel to see if he would Snitch.
Don’t worry, in my fantasy I used a snow shovel. I would never want to permanently disfigure someone.
I just wanted to prove a point.

I can tolerate the Giants winning the Super Bowl. Sort of. But Eli Manning, Mr. I-Won’t-Play-In-San-Diego-Trade-Me-Now, did NOT deserve the MVP yet again. Nor did Brady or anyone else. There has been no single Valuable Player in this last decade. The teams as a whole have won it. And, sadly for my hometown preferences, the teams as a whole have lost it. No one play or player.

What is going on, indeed.
The only thing that could cheer me up after that pathetic Patriots loss.
